18 апреля 2019 года в МАОУ СОШ № 31 г. Калининграда с успехом прошел методический семинар для учителей английского языка г. Калининграда и Калининградской области "More Involvement, More Learning", Лектор - Геннадий Зайцев, Глава Представительства Oxford University Press (ELT) в России, г.

Part 1: Teaching young learners: Discovering Literacy and Reading Skills

This presentation begins by identifying key stages of early literacy development from holding a pencil to learning new words. It then moves  into the areas of reading skills’ development covered in Oxford Discover, linking these skills to learning across the curriculum in English. It finishes with suggestions on how children can further develop their reading outside the classroom.

Part 2: Teaching teenagers: More Involvement, More Learning

The teenage years bring physical, mental and emotional changes. It can be difficult for teachers to motivate teenager students. Taking into consideration how students learn, this session provides teachers with practical activities and ideas for involving students in their learning, helping teachers and students to get the most from their lessons with Solutions.

Part 3: Teaching adults and young adults:  File A: Harness the Potential in your Classroom

File B: Video and How to Make the Most of It

Using video in the classroom as well as at home can help motivate students to learn. In this session teachers will see how using video can fit into a lesson. The session will also explore  practical classroom activities and ideas to integrate the use of video into the lesson. We will look at other activities and features of OUP’s global bestseller English File that “get the students talking”.
